Nowadays, there are many places that are rarely watched, but by being included in waka poems, “Utakura” is reminiscent of lyrical images of nature and legends, and is a favorite of ancient and medieval poets. It was the place. The land of such "Utamakura" is also the stage for many Noh works.
In this performance, a Noh staged on a song pillow located on the Higashi-Sanchi road that connects Mutsu from the capital will be performed in a series of 5 times. Before the performance of the work, Akiko Baba, a poet and a person of cultural merits, will give a lecture on the land of "Utakura" and the songs sung. It is a performance where you can fully enjoy and enjoy Noh by knowing the land and singing.
The 1st performance will be performed on the outer beach, which is a song pillow of Mutsukuni, and will perform "Nori Shizen", which depicts the suffering of a hunter who is blamed in hell for continuing to catch birds.
