能・狂言の名曲・大曲を堪能していただく特別公演。老女を描いた能のなかでも最奥の秘曲とされる「姨捨」「檜垣」「関寺小町」の三曲を連続して上演します。「三老女」と呼ばれるこれら三曲は、各流で重く扱われており、相応の芸域に達した者にしか演じられないとされています。
第3回は、百歳に及ぶ老いた小野小町が若かりし頃の華やかな生活をしのび、稚児の舞に興を覚えて舞を舞う「関寺小町」を観世銕之丞が演じます。本作は、「三老女」のなかでも最高の秘曲とされています。
狂言は、富士詣で太郎冠者が手に入れた富士松を賭けて、主人と冠者とが巧みに連歌の掛け合いをする「富士松」を、人間国宝の野村萬の出演でお送りします。

A special performance where you can enjoy Noh and Kyogen masterpieces and great songs. Three songs, "Obasute," "Higaki," and "Sekiji Komachi," which are considered to be the innermost secret songs of Noh depicting an old woman, will be performed in succession. These three songs, called "Three Old Women," are treated heavily in each style, and are said to be performed only by those who have reached the appropriate level of entertainment.
In the third installment, Kanze Tetsunojo will play "Sekiji Komachi," where a hundred-year-old Ono no Komachi lives a glamorous life when he was young, and dances with the excitement of a child's dance. This work is considered to be the best secret song in "Three Old Women".
Kyogen will send "Fujimatsu", a living national treasure, with the appearance of Man Nomura, a living national treasure, in which the master and the crowner skillfully engage in a series of songs, betting on the Fujimatsu obtained by the Taro crowner in Fujimatsu.
