Miyakejima Performing Arts Doshikai and Taiko Performing Arts Troupe Kodo perform together on the stage "Matsuine" through the traditional performing arts Miyakejima Jintsuki Mikoshi Taiko.
The excitement of the repeating rhythm creates a sense of unity with the audience, and it is a stage where you can feel the energy of the festival.

It consists of Akio Tsumura (father), Kazuhiro (eldest son), Hideki (second son), and Harukai (third son).
In order to spread the appeal of punching drums, he has a studio in Shinjuku and teaches in 17 prefectures and 1 city.
In addition to performance activities in Japan and overseas, overseas, he is based in Los Angeles, USA, and has classes in Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand, where he teaches.
It is the only activity in the world where only the father and son clan is involved.
The 70-year-old Akio and his three brothers' taiko drums continue to evolve, pursuing performances that "put sound into the listener's body."

A group based in Sado Island that attempts to re-create the present age by discovering limitless possibilities in traditional music and performing arts centered on taiko drums.
After 10 years of activity as ``Sado no Kuni Ondekoza'' since 1971, debuted at the Berlin Festival in 1981.
Since then, he has performed more than 6,500 times in 52 countries and regions.
In addition to theatrical performances, there are also “exchange school performances” aimed at interacting with elementary, junior high and high school students, and co-starring with artists of various genres. He has participated in many international art festivals and movie music.
From 2012 to 2016, Kabuki actor Tamasaburo Bando was invited as artistic director.
In recent years, he has performed with Sayuri Ishikawa, Hatsune Miku, AI, Chitose Moto, and BRAHMAN.
In 2019, he appeared at the opening ceremony of the "Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan Tournament".
In 2020, a collaboration with the Yomiuri Giants is realized.
In 2021, we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of our founding.
