~Profile~
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1962.
He lived in Brazil until the age of 10, and started singing while playing the guitar at the age of 15.
CD debut in 1989. With her natural singing voice, rhythmic guitar, and charming smile, she quickly spread Bossa Nova all over Japan.
He has performed with Antonio Carlos Jobim, the god of bossa nova, and Joao Donato, the master of jazz and samba.
In 1999, the album "Dream" recorded a hit of over 200,000 copies, and has won the Japan Gold Disc Award "Jazz Category" four times.
In 2013, he was awarded the Rio Branco National Medal by the Brazilian government, making his position as the foremost bossa nova in Japan unshakable.
He sang the NHK Great East Japan Earthquake recovery support song "Hana wa Saku" in Portuguese, which was broadcast on NHK International Broadcasting and became a hot topic.
It was first performed at "Lisa Ono Concert 2021-New Year Journey-" held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall on January 23, 2021.
From 1986 to 1987, he released 8 albums (Neo Chic Series) including "Umibe no Satie" and a collection of Christmas songs by solo piano, attracting attention as a pianist and arranger.
After that, he participated in the concerts and recordings of many artists such as Taeko Onuki, Lisa Ono, and Ikuko Kawai, and has a reputation for his unique delicate and sharp piano touch and tone.
In 2003, he established his own label "Amphibian" and released mainly solo piano albums.
In addition, he has performed frequently overseas, such as Ikuko Kawai at Carnegie Hall 2008 and Lisa Ono Asia Tour.
