A big city in Western Europe. Mrs. Yamamoto is an elderly woman. She lives alone in a small apartment. Nino and Eric, a couple, also live in the same apartment, and something like a friendship develops between them. However, after that, Mrs. Yamamoto falls down the stairs and is taken to the hospital, where she dies a short time later.
Various characters are depicted around this story. While these scenes suggest mutual connections, they do not have a linear timeline structure. The themes addressed here are the loneliness of big cities and social change. And above all, how will we live together from now on? You are creating a virtual world. Is your plan to settle there, acquire virtual money, a house, an avatar, and multiple lives, and then be able to incinerate the real world with peace of mind? How can we interpret the scenery beyond the stern yet gentle gaze of playwright Der Roher? This is the latest work written by Germany's leading playwright Der Roher to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Tokyo Engeki Ensemble. It will have a double world premiere with the Zurich Theater in Switzerland.
