overview
"Dojoji" is said to be the graduation exam for Noh actors. I first attempted this large piece in 2009. After performing "Dojoji," I launched the "Noh Festival" as a place for further training. Now, to celebrate the milestone of my 15th anniversary, I will once again attempt the large piece "Dojoji." I will perform it in a short piece called "Akagashira."
"Dojoji" is a piece that is the culmination of secret oral traditions, so it is a series of climaxes that require you to stay on your toes for even a moment. In the second half of the performance, the shite changes to a red head and scarlet hakama, and he expresses more intense emotions than usual.
