overview
It was in 2009 that I first took on the large-scale piece "Dojoji," said to be the graduation exam for Noh actors. After performing "Dojoji," I started the "Noh Festival" as a place for further training. Now, to celebrate the milestone of my 15th anniversary, I will once again take on the large-scale piece "Dojoji." I will be performing it in a short piece called "Akagashira."
Since "Dojoji" is a piece that is the culmination of secret oral traditions, it is a series of climaxes that require you to stay on your toes for even a moment. In the second half of the performance, the shite changes to a red head and scarlet hakama, and he expresses more intense emotions than usual.
