At dusk in autumn, Saigyo, who is on his way to visit Sumiyoshi Shrine, asks an elderly couple for a night's lodging. The eaves of the hermitage are only half-thatched, and the master wants to enjoy the sound of the rain by thatching the eaves. Saigyo added the above phrase, ``The moon is leaking and the rain is stagnant anyway.'' Impressed, the couple invites Saigyo into the hermitage and enjoys the autumn atmosphere. Before long, the couple disappeared, and Sumiyoshi Myojin, who possessed Miyato, appeared.
Kyogen 2,000 koku
Taro Kaja has traveled without his master's permission to visit temples and shrines in Kyoto. Kaja has learned the popular 2000-koku noh chants in the capital, so he will show them to his master, but this chant is an important seal that has been handed down from his ancestors. The angry master tells Kaja about the origin...
Noh Shari
A suspicious man appears in front of a monk worshiping the relics (Buddha's bones) at Kyoto's Sennyu-ji Temple, disguised as a villager. The sky suddenly becomes cloudy, and the foot-demon who stole away the Buddha's ashes is chased by Idaten, who guards the temple, and runs around the heavenly world. The running demon was eventually punished and exhausted, and Idaten was able to recover the ashes safely.
An epic chasing play in which Ashidaki and Idaten fight one-on-one and run around the 3,000 worlds.
