舞囃子　安宅（あたか）
　頼朝に追われ、奥州平泉へ向う義経主従は加賀国安宅の関で関守の富樫に追いつめられます。しかし命を賭して主君を守る弁慶の機転と豪胆さで見事に危機を逃れるのでした…。
　歌舞伎「勧進帳」でも有名な、弁慶の知略と行動力で窮地を脱するという、息もつかせぬ展開と迫力が見どころの能です。舞囃子では能の後半部分を紋付袴姿で上演します。


狂言　蚊相撲（かずもう）
　主人の大名から新たに雇い入れる召使いを探して来るよう命じられた太郎冠者。街道で声をかけた相手がまさか蚊の精とも知らず、冠者は意気揚々と大名のもとへ連れ帰ります。
　さて相撲が得意だと言う蚊の精に、大名はその腕前を見たいと所望し、自らその相手をすることにしますが…。
　狂言ならではの奇想天外な発想が見どころの狂言です。


能　葵上 梓之出（あおいのうえ あずさので）
　光源氏の正妻葵上が病に倒れたと聞き、朱雀院の臣下が照日の前という巫女を呼び出してその原因を占わせます。
　やがて霊魂を招き寄せる巫女の弓音に惹かれ、一人の貴婦人が現れます。女は光源氏のかつての恋人六条御息所で、嫉妬から正妻である葵上に生霊となって取り憑いていたのでした。御息所は光源氏の愛が遠のいてしまったことを嘆くと、公衆の面前で葵上から受けた屈辱を晴らすため、思い知れとばかりに病床の葵上を激しく打ち据え、消え去ります。
　葵上の病の急変に臣下は使者を出し、名高き修験者、横川小聖を呼び出して加持祈祷を行わせます。すると小聖の必死の祈りに、やがて悪鬼と変じた御息所の生霊が現れ、激しく小聖に責めかかります。しかし、やがて小聖の法力に屈すると御息所も悪鬼の心を和らげ、再び消え失せるのでした…。
　『源氏物語』を題材とした能で、主人公の光源氏への強い思いとその愛を失った悲しみ、正妻への嫉妬といった女の複雑な情念、執心の深さを見事に描いた能の代表作です。

Dance Music Ataka
Chased by Yoritomo, Yoshitsune and his servants heading for Hiraizumi in Oshu are cornered by Togashi, the seki-no-kami, at Ataka no Seki in Kaga Province. However, Benkei, who risked his life to protect his lord, escaped the crisis with his quick wit and boldness.
The highlight of this Noh play is the breathtaking development and power of Benkei, who is famous for his Kabuki play "Kanjincho". In Maibayashi, the second half of the Noh performance is performed while wearing a crested hakama.


Kyogen Mosquito Sumo
A taro crowner who was ordered by his master's daimyo to find a new servant to hire. Not knowing that the person he spoke to on the highway was a mosquito spirit, Kaja triumphantly took him back to the daimyo.
The daimyo wishes to see the skill of the mosquito spirit, who claims to be good at sumo wrestling, and decides to play against him himself.
Kyogen is characterized by its fantastic ideas unique to Kyogen.


Noh Aoi no Ue Azusa no De
Hearing that Hikaru Genji's legal wife, Aoi no Kami, fell ill, Suzakuin's retainers summoned a shrine maiden named Teruhi no Mae to tell her the cause.
Before long, a lady appears attracted by the sound of the shrine maiden's bow, which invites spirits. The woman was Hikaru Genji's former lover, Rokujou no Miyasudokoro, and out of jealousy, she became a living spirit and possessed Aoi no Ue, his legal wife. Miyasudokoro laments that Hikaru Genji's love has faded away, and in order to avenge the humiliation she received from Aoi in front of the public, she violently beats Aoi no Kami on her sick bed and disappears.
When Aoi no Ue's illness suddenly changed, the retainers sent messengers to summon the famous ascetic, Kosei Yokokawa, to perform a prayer prayer. Then, in response to Kosei's desperate prayers, the spirit of Miyasudokoro, who has turned into a demon, appears and violently attacks Kosei. However, when she finally gave in to the power of Kosei's law, Miyasudokoro softened the demon's heart and disappeared again...
A Noh play based on "The Tale of Genji," it is a representative Noh work that beautifully depicts the hero's strong feelings for Hikaru Genji, the sadness of losing his love, and the complex emotions of a woman, such as her jealousy towards her legal wife, and the depth of her obsession. .
