舞囃子　枕慈童（まくらじどう）

　中国、漢の時代。菊花咲き乱れる山中に八百歳を超えるという不思議な童子が住んでいました。童子は飲めば寿命が延びるという、この山に湧き出る水の由来を語って舞うと、汲めども尽きぬ薬水を帝に捧げ、寿命長遠を祝すのでした。

　めでたく音楽的にも華やかな雰囲気に溢れた能です。舞囃子では能の一曲の中心部分を紋付袴姿で上演します。

狂言　墨塗（すみぬり）

　都に長らく滞在していた大名がこの度帰郷することになり、召使う太郎冠者を伴って馴染みの女のもとへと別れを告げに行きます。女は大名との別れを惜しんで涙を流しますが、実はその涙は女が目元に水をつけた偽りの涙。それに気が付いた冠者は一計を案じ、水入れの水と墨とを取り換えて…。

　男女の駆け引きを滑稽に描き、見事に笑い飛ばした狂言。

能　百万（ひゃくまん）

　都の僧が奈良西大寺あたりで拾った幼子を伴い、嵯峨清涼寺の大念仏（大勢の人々が集まり念仏を唱える法会）へと向かいます。清涼寺の者から聞いた通り、やがて百万という女物狂が大念仏の庭に現れると面白く念仏の音頭を取り始め、生き別れた我が子との再会を願って狂乱の舞を舞います。

　さらに百万は自分は奈良の出身だと言い、夫と死別した上に幼い我が子とも生き別れとなり、それゆえ狂女となったのだと明かして、なおも仏に法楽の舞を捧げます。

　また百万はこうして念仏を唱えて諸国を彷徨い歩くのも我が子と再会したい一心なのだと言い、やがて取り乱したように大念仏の群衆の中に我が子を探し回ると、念仏を唱えて我が子との再会を祈ります。

　実は僧の連れた幼子こそ百万の生き別れた子で、再会を喜んだ母子はともに連れ立って都へと帰るのでした…。

　狂女を主人公としたいわゆる狂女物の能で、見どころ、聴きどころ多い、華やかな芸尽しの能です。

Maibayashi Pillow Jido

China, Han Dynasty. In the mountains where chrysanthemums bloom profusely, there lived a strange boy who was over 800 years old. The child dances, telling the story of the origin of the water that springs from this mountain, which is said to extend one's lifespan by drinking it, and offers the emperor the medicinal water that never runs out to celebrate his longevity.

It is a Noh play that is both musically and brimming with a gorgeous atmosphere. In the Maibayashi, the central part of one Noh piece is performed while wearing a hakama with a crest.

Kyogen Suminuri

A daimyo, who has been staying in the capital for a long time, is about to return to his hometown, and he goes to say goodbye to a familiar woman, accompanied by his servant Taro Kaja. The woman sheds tears because she regrets parting with the daimyo, but the tears are actually fake tears that the woman put water on her eyes. Kaja noticed this and devised a plan to replace the water in the water bowl with the ink...

Kyogen portrays the bargaining between men and women in a humorous manner and brilliantly laughs it off.

Noh Hyakuman

Accompanied by a young child picked up by a monk in the capital around Saidaiji Temple in Nara, they head to Saga Seiryoji Temple's Dainenbutsu (a large number of people gather together to chant the Buddha). As I heard from the people of Seiryo-ji Temple, when a million women's madness appears in the garden of the Great Nembutsu, they begin to sing the Nembutsu in an amusing way and perform a frenzied dance in hopes of reuniting with their long-lost child.

Furthermore, Hyakumado says that she is from Nara, and that she has lost her husband and her young child, and that is why she has become a madwoman. .

Also, Hyakuman said that the reason why he wandered around the country while chanting the nembutsu was because he wanted to meet his child again. I pray that I will be reunited with my child.

In fact, the infants brought by the monk were one million separated children, and the mother and child were delighted to be reunited and returned to the capital together.

It is a so-called madwoman Noh with a madwoman as the main character, and it is a gorgeous Noh with many highlights and listening.
