Noh Fujito
Moritsuna Sasaki, a vassal of Minamoto no Yoritomo, was given Kojima in Bizen Province as a reward for crossing the sea on horseback and taking the lead in the Battle of Fujito.
When he goes to Kojima, an old woman complains that Moritsuna killed her son. In fact, Moritsuna had killed the fisherman who had told him about the shallow water that a horse could cross in a battle, fearing that he would say otherwise. Moritsuna admits his fault to the weeping old woman and promises to provide a memorial service for the deceased fisherman. That night, the ghost of a fisherman appears from the bottom of the water.
Noh brings out the heartbreaking grief and suffering of the people in a realistic manner.
Kyogen Child Thief (Konusubito)
A man loses his money gambling and decides to sneak into a wealthy man's house to steal something. When he enters the parlor and looks through the beautiful tea ceremony utensils and kakemono, he finds a baby sleeping there. The thief becomes absorbed in cradling the cute baby...
Noh Kasuga Ryujin
Myoe Shonin, who decides to travel to Tenjiku to visit Buddhist ruins, visits Kasuga Myojin to ask for some free time. Knowing that the Shonin has deep faith in the Kasuga Myojin Shrine and is deeply admired by the Myojin Shrine, the old shrine guardian persuades the Shonin to leave Japan, saying that it would be against the divine will, and discourages him from going to Karato. . In reality, the guardian of the shrine was Hideyuki Tokikaze, who had come to announce the message of Kasuga Myojin. Eventually, the Eight Great Dragon Kings appear and recreate the deeds of the Buddha right before the Shonin's eyes...
