Ataka

Pursued by Yoritomo, Yoshitsune and his followers head to Hiraizumi in Oshu. They are cornered by the barrier guard Togashi at the barrier in Ataka, Kaga Province, but Benkei's quick thinking and boldness allow them to escape the crisis at the risk of his own life...

Igui

The husband of Igui hits him on the head at every opportunity. Igui is not amused by this and gets a mysterious hood that makes him disappear when he wears it. The husband panics when Igui disappears and asks a passing fortune teller to tell him where Igui is, but...

Tsuchigumo

Minamoto no Yorimitsu, who is renowned for his bravery, is bedridden with an unknown illness. His maid Kocho visits him with medicine, but Yorimitsu, who is weak both physically and mentally, laments that he is just waiting for death.

Late at night, a strange-looking monk appears at the sleeping Yorimitsu's bedside and spits out a thousand threads of silk before approaching Yorimitsu. However, Yorimitsu unsheathes his famous sword Hizamaru and attacks, wounding the monk and disappearing.

Hearing a noise, Solitary Musha, a retainer, rushes to the scene. Looking around, he sees a great deal of blood. Solitary Musha and his men follow the trail of blood and find the old Tsuchigumo mound in the Katsuragi mountains. Soon, the Tsuchigumo emerges from the mound, emitting flames and spitting threads in resistance, but is finally defeated by Solitary Musha...
