あらすじ

江戸の下町に暮らす独り身の又兵衛は、金魚を売って暮らし

ていた。夕刻、又兵衛は金魚売りから家に戻ると、木桶の中で無数に泳ぐ赤い金魚たちを眺める

のが好きだった。その金魚たちの中で、一匹だけ不器用な泳ぎをする金魚がいることに気がつい

た。又兵衛は、そっと掬い上げ、金魚玉に入れた。

又兵衛は金魚玉に入れた金魚にずっと長生きするようにと、「千年(ちとせ)」と名付けた。

千年は、天秤から移し替えられる時、初めて又兵衛に触れた。温かくて優しい。 その夜、千年はもう一度又兵衛に触れてほしい一心で、金魚玉から飛び出してしまう。 丑の刻。千年の念は、ひと夜限りのヒトガタとなった。再び又兵衛に触れることが出来た千年の 魂は花となり咲き、散って行った。 水面に浮かぶ千年の花びらは、美しい泳ぎの如くどこまでも静かに流れていきました。

金魚売りと金魚の化身の恋物語を、等身大の人形や面を遣って上演致します。

　舞香花の新作と共に、三味線の演奏と、ゲストによるダンスの作品をお届け致します。
