国内外で高い評価を得ているパントマイミスト・清水きよしによる作品「KAMEN」が、2025年5月9日、座・高円寺(東京都杉並区）にて開催される。

初演より41年。本公演で180回目を数える「KAMEN」は、国内はもとよりヨーロッパ、インドなどアジア各地で上演されてきた。

能面技法にて作られた陰と陽の二つの創作面を使用、敢えて顔の表情を隠し、限られた視界の中で繰り広げられる研ぎ澄まされた仮面での演技は、年々、円熟味を増してゆく唯一無二の創作パントマイムであり、パントマイムのイメージを一新する。 

"KAMEN", a work by pantomime artist Kiyoshi Shimizu, who has received high praise both in Japan and overseas, will be held at Za Koenji (Suginami-ku, Tokyo) on May 9, 2025.

41 years since its premiere. This performance will mark the 180th performance of "KAMEN", which has been performed not only in Japan but also in Europe, India, and other parts of Asia.

Using two creative masks, one dark and one light, made using Noh mask techniques, the performance, which is performed with a refined mask that deliberately hides the facial expression and is performed within a limited field of vision, is a unique and creative pantomime that becomes more mature with each passing year, and will completely change the image of pantomime.
