上方落語界の重鎮である桂米團治の特別公演。2014年に始まり2018年から3年ぶり6回目の春秋座公演を行います。
１部では上方古典落語をきっちり口演し、2部は落語とオペラが合体した摩訶不思議なコラボ、米團治十八番の「おぺらくご」の上演。米團治が大阪弁で何役もこなし、京都フィルハーモニー室内合奏団の選抜メンバーによる演奏とオペラ歌手も出演し、春秋座ならではの歌舞伎舞台機構を駆使してお見せします。

A special performance by Keiji Katsura, a major figure in the upper storytelling world. Starting in 2014, we will hold the 6th Spring-Autumn Theater performance for the first time in 3 years from 2018.
In the first part, the upper classical rakugo is performed exactly, and in the second part, a mysterious collaboration that combines rakugo and opera, "Operakugo" by Yonedanji Katsura. Yonedanji Katsura will play many roles in the Osaka dialect, and the performances by selected members of the Kyoto Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble and opera singers will also appear, making full use of the Kabuki stage mechanism unique to Shunshuza.
