Overview Enjoy a theatrical piece that harmonizes numerous dramatic scenes with beautiful stage art, accompanied by live orchestral performances.
The stage is a village surrounded by a rich forest in medieval Germany. Young Lois is in love with the village girl Giselle. However, one day, the hunting ground keeper Hilarion reveals that Royce is in fact Count Albrecht, who has a fiancé. Giselle is so shocked that she faints and kills herself in madness.
Albrecht came to visit Giselle's grave in the late-night forest. Spirits (willi) appear there. Willi forces Albrecht to perform a dance that kills him, but Giselle, who also becomes Willi, tries hard to protect him. Just when Albrecht's power was about to run out...
