・公演内容
アシュトン、マクミランの系譜を継ぐ英国バレエの担い手として世界的に活躍してきたデヴィッド・ビントレー。
日本の物語をベースに新たに制作する「雪女」ほか、振付家ビントレーの真髄を堪能できる 3 作品を一挙上演！

Flowers of the Forest
スコットランドの歴史を想起させるビントレーの秀作。振付には民族舞踊のステップを取り入れ、光と影を象徴するかのような対照的な 2 つのパートで構成される。

The Dance House（日本初演）
“死の舞踏”からインスピレーションを受け、親しい友人の死への哀歌として振り付けられた作品。デザインは、バレエダンサーを多く描き“現代のドガ”とも称されたロバート・ハインデル。

雪女（世界初演）
デヴィッド・ビントレーがスターダンサーズ・バレエ団のために創り上げる世界初演作。
日本の伝承を元とした小泉八雲の物語「雪女」を題材とした、恐ろしくも切ないストーリー・バレエ。

・Performance content
David Bintley has been active worldwide as a leader in British ballet, carrying on the lineage of Ashton and Macmillan.
In addition to the newly created "Yuki-Onna" based on a Japanese story, three other works will be performed all at once, allowing you to enjoy the essence of choreographer Bintley!

Flowers of the Forest
Bintley's masterpiece evokes the history of Scotland. The choreography incorporates steps from folk dances and consists of two contrasting parts that seem to symbolize light and shadow.

The Dance House (Japanese premiere)
This piece was inspired by the "Dance of Death" and was choreographed as an elegy for the death of a close friend. The design was by Robert Heindel, who drew many ballet dancers and was also known as the ``modern Degas.''

Yuki Onna (World Premiere)
A world premiere work created by David Bintley for Star Dancers Ballet.
A frightening yet heartbreaking story ballet based on Yakumo Koizumi's story "Yuki-onna", which is based on Japanese folklore.
