２０１９年、新天皇が即位されます。横浜能楽堂では、この慶事に際し、古典芸能の中から皇室縁の曲や祝儀曲を集め、特別企画公演「大典 奉祝の芸能」を２日にわたり開催します。
第２日は、邦楽と能楽。継承を祝し鶴の親子の情愛を写した尺八の名曲「鶴之巣籠」、「君が代」や仁徳天皇の御製を歌詞として江戸時代に作曲された「手事物」の地歌の代表曲「難波獅子」、大正天皇の銀婚式を祝し作曲された箏曲「五月晴」、太郎冠者が神泉苑に舞い降りた鷺の姿を真似る狂言「鷺」、大正天皇の即位を祝して作られた能「大典」を上演します。若手から「人間国宝」を始めとしたベテランまで、現代の古典芸能を代表する顔ぶれが揃って出演します。

In 2019, the new Emperor is throne. At the Yokohama Noh Theater, we will hold a special project "Daiken Festival's Entertainment" for 2 days, gathering royal family songs and biblical songs from classical performing arts.
